Richards wacht tot laatste moment met keuze over toetreding

David Richards heeft de knoop of hij met een team toe zal treden tot de Formule 1 nog altijd niet doorgehakt. De deadline voor inschrijving nadert toch snel, uiterlijk vrijdag wil de internationale autosportbond FIA de aanmeldingsformulieren binnen krijgen.

De onduidelijkheid over de reglementen doen Richards twijfelen, zo onthulde hij tegenover Auto Motor und Sport. Alles hangt af van twee vragen. Geven de nieuwe regels ons een kans op sportief succes en zijn de financiële basiscondities aanwezig voor een lang en praktisch businessmodel? We wachten tot het laatste moment. Vlak voor het verstrijken van de deadline vergaderen we met het bestuur van Prodrive en Aston Martin en dan nemen we de beslissing.
