Poolse fans mogen locatie voor Formule 1-race kiezen

Polen is het volgende land dat graag een Grand Prix wil organiseren. Elektronicaconcern LG, globale partner van het wereldkampioenschap Formule 1, steunt een campagne van het land in een zoektocht naar een locatie voor de eerste Poolse Grand Prix.

Sinds Robert Kubica furore maakt in de koningsklasse van de autosport is de belangstelling voor de sport in Polen flink toegenomen. Poolse fans mogen nu kiezen uit Warschau, Krakau, Breslau en Gdynia voor de locatie van een Grand Prix. Tot augustus kunnen ze hun stem uitbrengen, daarna zal LG de winnende locatie aandragen bij de Formule 1-autoriteiten.
