Raikkonen: "Brawn GP is de grote favoriet voor Turkije"

Ferrari en Kimi Raikkonen gaven in Monaco een teken van leven. Lange tijd vertoefden de Italiaanse renstal en de wereldkampioen van 2007 in de marge, in het prinsdom was daar eindelijk weer een podiumplek. De mannen uit Maranello zijn begonnen aan een inhaalslag. Ferrari tot de favorieten rekenen voor de Grand Prix van Turkije gaat voor Raikkonen echter een stap te ver.

Ferrari heeft de afgelopen drie jaar zeer goed gepresteerd in Turkije, maar dit keer is Brawn GP de grote favoriet, begint de Fin. Ze hebben vijf van de eerste zes races op hun naam geschreven. We zijn het gat aan het dichten en we moeten alles geven om terug aan de kop te komen. Het resultaat in Monaco was een stap in de goede richting, maar we dienen geduldig te blijven. Ik snap dat onze fans ons meteen willen zien winnen, maar dat is niet realistisch. Onze achterstand is kleiner, dat is zeker. In Turkije hebben we bovendien weer wat updates, maar de concurrentie zit niet stil.
