Natacha Gachnang zet zinnen op Formule 1-test bij Campos

Formule 2-coureur Natacha Gachnang wil haar banden met Adrian Campos gebruiken om voor zichzelf een Formule 1-test voor komende winter te regelen. Campos Grand Prix treedt in 2010 toe tot de koningsklasse van de autosport en het nichtje van Sebastien Buemi reed in de Formule 3 voor de Spaanse renstal.

Gachnang: Ik heb met Adrian Campos gesproken over een testrit. Het behoort zeker tot de mogelijkheden. Hij gelooft in mij als coureur na onze samenwerking in de Formule 3. Het zou voor mij een historisch moment zijn als ik de volgende vrouw in de Formule 1 wordt. Veel mensen denken dat het niet kan, dus het zou mooi zijn om hun ongelijk te bewijzen. Dat gezegd hebbende, het belangrijkste is om snel te zijn. Als ik niet hard genoeg ga, dan haal ik het niet. Daarom wil ik dit seizoen goed presteren in de Formule 2. Het vooruitzicht van een mogelijke test bij Campos Grand Prix motiveert me wel nog meer.
