Button met speciaal helmontwerp aan de start van thuisrace

Brawn GP-rijder Jenson Button heeft ook dit jaar een speciale helm voor zijn thuisrace, de Grand Prix van Groot-Brittannië. De kampioenschapleider reed dit seizoen tot nu toe met een helm in de kleuren van zijn werkgever, te weten felgeel, zwart en wit. Op Silverstone verschijnt hij aan de start met een helm met allemaal ronde Britse vlaggen waarbij de tekst 'Push the Button' staat.

Het ontwerp komt van een Oostenrijker. Button: De Britse Grand Prix is als thuisrace zeer speciaal voor me en ik hou van de sfeer die de fans creëren. De afgelopen jaren was het een traditie voor me om een Brits georiënteerde speciale helm te gebruiken op Silverstone en dit jaar vormt geen uitzondering. Wat ik waardeer in het winnende ontwerp is de manier waarop met de Britse vlag is omgesprongen en hoe mijn eigen logo is geïntegreerd. De helm ziet er prachtig uit en ik kan niet wachten om hem op te doen.
