Manor Grand Prix in afwachting van commerciële voorwaarden

De invoering van een budgetlimiet staat niet meer op de agenda. Voor twee van de drie nieuwe teams vormt dat geen probleem, US F1 en Campos Meta Team gaven eerder al aan toetreding daar niet vanaf te laten hangen. Voor Manor Grand Prix is het een ander verhaal. Niet dat de inschrijving op losse schroeven staat, maar de Britse renstal is wel zeer benieuwd naar de nieuwe financiële en commerciële voorwaarden.

Manor Grand Prix-teambaas John Booth vertrouwde Motorsport Aktuell toe: Alles hangt af van de nieuwe Concorde Agreement. Op dit moment ben ik alleen op de hoogte van de mondelinge afspraken, ik heb nog niets op papier zien staan. Desondanks acht ik het hoogst onwaarschijnlijk dat het Formule 1-debuut van Manor Grand Prix in gevaar komt.
