Formule 1-fans hebben nu de kans om alvast zelf te ervaren hoe een rondje van Yas Marina Circuit in elkaar steekt. De organisatie heeft op de website van de nieuwe baan de mogelijkheid gecreëerd om virtueel een rondje te rijden.

Circuitdirecteur Richard Cregan verklaart: Er is enorm veel belangstelling voor Yas Marina Circuit en de race op 1 november en de Virtual Driver Experience biedt autosportfans een geweldige gelegenheid om nu al zo dicht mogelijk op de actie te komen. De Virtual Driver Experience is makkelijk te gebruiken, maar een uitdaging om het jezelf meester te maken. Of je nu accelereert voor het langste rechte stuk op een Formule 1-circuit, van de baan glijdt onder de Grandstand, de lastige Marina-bocht en Yas Yacht Club-bocht probeert te nemen of onder Yas Hoter doorrijdt, elke ronde biedt weer een uitdaging.
