FOTA-schorsing voor Williams en Force India blijft gehandhaafd

De teams van Williams en Force India mogen vooralsnog niet hun plaatsen terug innemen in teamverbond FOTA. Het tweetal werd geschorst nadat ze zich in de strijd met de internationale autosportbond FIA onvoorwaardelijk aan de Formule 1 verbonden. Maar ook nu de dreiging van een alternatieve serie aanzienlijk minder is staan de twee renstallen buitenspel.

En dat blijft voorlopig zo. Een FOTA-woordvoerster onthulde tegenover GPUpdate.net: Williams en Force India blijven voor het moment geschorst. Het is aan het comité van teambazen om een beslissing te nemen over hun terugkeer. Momenteel staat er geen vergadering over dit onderwerp gepland.
