Ari Vatanen zet aanval op rivaal Jean Todt door

Ari Vatanen heeft opnieuw zijn onvrede geuit over de manier waarop Jean Todt wordt gepresenteerd als de ideale opvolger van Max Mosley als voorzitter van de internationale autosportbond FIA. Ook de campagne van Todt stuit diens Finse tegenstrever tegen de borst.

Vatanen vertrouwde 422race.com toe: “Een grote meerderheid van de mensen binnen de FIA zijn niet blij met hoe het nu gaat. De FIA verkeert niet in goede gezondheid. Jean reist met zijn vriendin in een privévliegtuig de wereld over onder het mom van afgevaardigde van de FIA. In feite wordt zijn campagne volledig gesteund en betaald door de FIA.”

De oud-rallycoureur claimt echter al enkele bonden achter zich te hebben. “Ik ben net terug uit Spanje en beide grote Spaanse bonden steunen me. De ADAC uit Duitsland staat ook achter me, evenals de grootste club van de wereld, de AAA uit Amerika. Nu hebben we nog steun uit Azië en Afrika nodig voor een geloofwaardige president”, aldus Vatanen.

    Ik zeg: Ari Vatanen is de enige echte kandidaat voor opvolging. Todt is een goede manager, maar hij heeft te recente banden met Ferrari en daarom is het etisch gezien niet te verantwoorden!Geloof niet dat Todt partijdig zal zijn, maar er hoeft maar iets te gebeuren wat daar op lijkt en de poppen zijn weer aan het dansen gebracht...

    Tsja, Vatanen zal best de grootste bonden achter zich krijgen. Het venijn zit hem in al die kleine landjes in Afrika. Daar zitten de meeste stemmen. Daar is Jean Todt druk bezig geweest met het uitdelen van geld. Daar zitten ook de mensen die tevreden zijn met het werk van Mosley en die zijn dus ook voor Todt als die zegt dat hij het \&quot;goede werk\&quot; van Mosley voort gaat zetten.

    Deze manier van campagne voeren is natuurlijk niet eerlijk. Ze moeten het op eigen houdje de kiezers zien te winnen. Ze mogen wel geld van eigen sponsors krijgen, maar van de FIA is niet eerlijk.
