Montreal wil Grand Prix terug, maar niet tegen elke prijs

Bernie Ecclestone beloofde afgelopen week dat de Formule 1 volgend jaar terugkeert naar Canada. Een officiële bevestiging is echter nog niet mogelijk. Montreal vindt de eisen van Ecclestone nog te gortig en de onderhandelingen duren immer voort.

Een woordvoerster voor de burgemeester van de Canadese stad, Gerald Tremblay, verklaarde: Er staan gesprekken gepland tussen de stad en de provincie. Wij willen graag dat in 2010 weer een Grand Prix plaats heeft in Montreal, maar niet tegen elke prijs.
