Brawn GP mengt zich in de strijd om Nico Rosberg

Williams-coureur Nico Rosberg heeft over belangstelling niet te klagen. Zijn huidige werkgever wil hem behouden, McLaren dingt naar zijn diensten en nu heeft ook Brawn GP zijn interesse kenbaar gemaakt. Dat meldt de Duitse krant Bild.

Zelf is Rosberg er nog niet uit, al is hij wel blij met de getoonde belangstelling. “Het ziet er goed uit dat ik kan doen wat ik wil. Maar ik heb nog geen keuze gemaakt.” Volgens Bild geniet McLaren, waar hij Heikki Kovalainen zou opvolgen, de voorkeur.

    Nico blijf gewoon bij Williams. Brawn is volgend jaar wat Williams nu is. good but ot good enough. Mclaren heb je Lewis hamilton voor je voeten rijden en bij Williams heb je ten minste een team dat jouw op handen draagt

      Dan zie ik in jou een bange rijder die geen uitdaging aanneemt. Als Nico naar McLaren zou gaan komt hij inderdaad naast een hele goede coureur, maar dat is voor hem juist een goede uitdaging om hem te verslaan. Ze kennen elkaar goed en zijn allebei erg sociaal. Het lijkt mij juist een erg goede zet om 2e rijder naast Lewis Hamilton te zijn. Versla hem…

      is wel leuk als je op handen gedragen word maar daar word je geen wereldkampioen mee en ook niet bij williams al is dat jammer natuurlijk

    Las ik laatst niet ergens dat Toyota interesse in Button had? Zie namelijk op dit moment geen reden om Barrichello er uit te gooien.

      Imo doet rosberg het dit jaar beter dan Alonso, maar dat wil niet zeggen dat hij beter is. Rosberg heeft dit jaar bewezen wat hij kan als hij degelijk (=/= top) materiaal, hij haalt volgens mij het onderste uit de kan bij Williams, net zoals Alonso op dit moment doet met de Renault. Als Rosberg de eerste wedstrijden strategisch wat beter had gestaan, stond hij nu denk ik 5de in het kampioenschap.

    Alleen voor het geld is het al logisch dat Rosberg naar McLaren gaat. Williams staat nou niet echt bekend om hun topsalarissen.

    Geef elke rijder een top auto en hij wint, buiten de invallers dit jaar, het gaat om het kampioenschap en daar is meer voor nodig dan een wedstrijd winnen.

      Dat ben niet met je eens, Kieko! Kijk maar naar Button dit jaar. Kon na Turkije het WK niet meer verliezen en kijk hoe het hem nu verloopt. Hij gaat gebukt onder de stress en krijgt meer en meer de hete adem van Barichello in z\'n nek, die deze situatie al kent van in de Ferrari-tijd.

      Leren omgaan met druk is essentieel voor een WK kampioen en daarom denk ik dat alleen een combinatie van talent en ervaring de doorslag kan geven. Daarom is ook Hamilton in zijn tweede jaar pas wereldkampioen geworden en maar op het nippertje! Omdat in 2007 zowel Kimi als Alonso achter zijn vel zaten en beide al zoveel kampioenschapservaring hebben dat ze daar geen extra druk meer ervaren
