Williams beschouwt Cosworth-motoren als optie voor 2010

Het team van Williams heeft nog geen motorleverancier voor 2010. De Britse renstal neigde naar Renault-krachtbronnen, maar het is niet zeker dat de Franse autofabrikant doorgaat met de Formule 1. Williams kijkt daarom naar alternatieven.

Mede-eigenaar Patrick Head bekende dat Cosworth een serieuze optie is. In de Stuttgartern Rosen zei hij: Cosworth is absoluut een mogelijkheid voor 2010. Motorleverancier Cosworth keert volgend jaar terug in de Formule 1 en nieuwe teams US F1, Manor Grand Prix, Campos Meta Team en Lotus gaan Cosworth-motoren gebruiken.
