Mercedes: "Beëindiging relatie met McLaren niet aan de orde"

Mercedes heeft vooralsnog niet de intentie om de samenwerking met fabrieksteam McLaren stop te zetten. Een verandering is wel op komst, zo liet Daimler-baas Dieter Zetsche aan autocar.co.uk weten. Zo wil de Duitse autofabrikant een aandeel in Brawn GP.

Zetsche: Beëindiging van de samenwerking met McLaren is niet aan de orde, maar de relatie tussen ons gaat mogelijk wel veranderen. Zetsche pleit ook voor minder uitgaven in de Formule 1. Mercedes wil toe naar aanzienlijk lagere budgetten en andere reglementen.
