Overheid Zuid-Korea zegt steun voor Formule 1-race toe

Zuid-Korea heeft een volgende stap op weg naar een Grand Prix gezet. Organisator KAVO (Korean Auto Valley Operation) bracht begin september al naar buiten de helft van het benodigde geld binnen te hebben en nu kunnen ze ook rekenen op de steun van de overheid.

Dat staat in de krant JoongAng. De provincie Zuid-Jeolla zegt 73 miljoen dollar toe en zal ook voor de benodigde vergunningen voor de bouw van het circuit ten zuiden van Seoul en de organisatie van de race zorgen. Zuid-Korea kwam op de voorlopige kalender voor 2010 echter nog niet voor.
