Canon overweegt sponsoring Brawn GP voort te zetten

Canon sluit niet uit dat ze de sponsorovereenkomst met Brawn GP verlengen. In Singapore was het logo van het concern voor het eerst op de side-pods van de wagens van Jenson Button en Rubens Barrichello te zien en mogelijk komt daar een vervolg aan.

Canon was in de jaren tachtig van de vorige eeuw voor het laatst als fulltime Formule 1-sponsor actief. Directeur Andrew Koh in de Straits Times: Het enige dat we weten is dat Canon afgelopen weekend wereldwijd in beeld is gekomen, wij volgen de resultaten en krijgen later de feedback te zien. Aan de hand daarvan kijken we wat we gaan doen.
