Toyota: "We wensen Williams het beste voor de toekomst"

Toyota maalt er niet echt om dat Williams na dit seizoen geen klantenmotoren meer afneemt. Op verzoek van de Britse renstal ontbond de Japanse autofabrikant het contract voor volgend jaar. Toyota heeft daar wel vrede mee.

Teambaas Tadashi Yamashina: We hebben een vruchtbare samenwerking met Williams meegemaakt en ik geloof dat beide partijen er voordeel van hebben ondervonden. We respecteren de wensen van Williams om naar een andere partner op zoek te gaan en wensen ze het beste voor de toekomst.
