Vettel wijt mislopen titel aan teveel gemaakte fouten

Red Bull Racing-coureur Sebastian Vettel legt de schuld voor het missen van de titel dit jaar voornamelijk bij zichzelf en zijn team. In Auto Motor und Sport zegt hij dat ze zelf te veel hebben laten liggen om het kampioenschap op te eisen.

Vettel: Al met al moet de conclusie zijn dat te veel races van onze kant niet goed genoeg waren. We waren niet constant genoeg. Er zijn fouten gemaakt, ik heb fouten gemaakt, dat had niet zo hoeven zijn. We hebben nog veel te leren, desondanks was dit een zeer goed seizoen voor ons en ik denk dat we nog beter kunnen.
