Montreal strijkt laatste plooien glad, bevestiging aanstaande

De Grand Prix van Canada lijkt volgend jaar definitief terug te keren op de Formule 1-kalender. Bernie Ecclestone hield de afgelopen weken nog een slag om de arm vanwege een onenigheid over de betaling van belastingen.

Die plooi is nu glad gestreken, zo meldt de krant La Presse. Ecclestone krijgt zijn zin en niets staat een rentree op de kalender meer in de weg. Montreal-burgemeester Gerald Tremblay zal volgens het artikel binnen enkele dagen het nieuws officieel bevestigen.
