Fairuz Fauzy mikt op racestoeltje bij Lotus F1 Racing

Fairuz Fauzy hoopt volgend jaar zijn opwachting op de Formule 1-grid te maken. De Maleisiër ziet daar mogelijkheden toe bij het nieuwe team Lotus F1 Racing. Die renstal wordt namelijk flink gesteund door de Maleisische overheid en Maleisische investeerders.

Met Lotus F1 Racing is de mogelijkheid om mijn droom om de Formule 1 te halen reëel. Ik weet dat ik wel moet bewijzen dat ik er klaar voor ben. Hopelijk is mijn tweede plaats in de eindstand van de World Series by Renault genoeg, aldus Fauzy in de Straits Times.
