Trulli en Sutil kibbelen door over ongeluk in Brazilië

Toyota-rijder Jarno Trulli en Force India-coureur Adrian Sutil hebben de strijdbijl over hun aanvaring in Brazilië duidelijk nog niet begraven. Tijdens de persconferentie voor de Grand Prix van Abu Dhabi kwam de crash uit de eerste ronde op Interlagos ter sprake en het tweetal begon meteen een heftige discussie.

Trulli: Ik denk dat we het in de briefing gaan bespreken. Het was teleurstellend om de race op die manier te beëindigen, helemaal in de eerste ronde. Ik had voldoende redenen om furieus te zijn. Ik heb bewijs dat ik naast hem reed, maar we zullen het tijdens de briefing wel bespreken.

De reactie van Sutil: Ik zie geen aanleiding om iets te bespreken. Het was een vrij duidelijk incident. Al met al was het voor mij nog teleurstellender, aangezien ik gewoon reed en hij de controle over zijn auto verloor en tegen mijn achterkant aan knalde. Ik was niet het probleem, dat was hij en ik snap niet dat hij zo uit zijn dak ging.

Zo ging het nog wel een tijdje door. Verwijten vlogen over en weer, maar de kou is duidelijk nog niet uit de lucht is.
