US F1 kiest Motorland Aragon als Europese basis

Het nieuwe US F1 heeft bekendgemaakt dat Motorland Aragon in Spanje als Europese basis van de Amerikaanse renstal gaat dienen. Het team zal het Spaanse circuit gebruiken voor tests, ontwikkeling van de auto en als logistiek hoofdkwartier. De fabriek van US F1 huist in Charlotte.

Sportief directeur Peter Windsor legt de keuze voor Motorland Aragon uit: Motorland Aragon is het ideale complex voor de Europese activiteiten van US F1. Van de optimale locatie en weersomstandigheden tot de rijke geschiedenis en diverse mogelijkheden voor de lay-out van het circuit, Motorland biedt de perfecte faciliteiten voor de eerste Amerikaanse renstal in veertig jaar om 2010 aan te kunnen en te trainen voor 2011 en daarna.
