Williams presenteert Barrichello en Hülkenberg als duo voor 2010

Rubens Barrichello en Nico Hülkenberg verdedigen volgend jaar de eer van het team van Williams. De geruchten over deze line-up gingen al langer en de Britse renstal heeft het tweetal nu officieel gepresenteerd. Barrichello komt over van kampioen Brawn GP. Hülkenberg promoveert van testrijder naar racecoureur bij Williams.

Teambaas Frank Williams: Rubens heeft geen introductie nodig. Hij is niet alleen de meest ervaren Formule 1-coureur aller tijden, maar ook een gepassioneerde en getalenteerde coureur die dit jaar meestreed om de wereldtitel. Nico Hülkenberg won dit jaar als debutant het GP2-kampioenschap en pakte eerder al de titel in de Formule 3 Euroseries, Formula Master, A1 Grand Prix en Formule BMW Duitsland.

Nico Rosberg en Kazuki Nakajima blijven tot het einde van 2009 onze coureurs en ik wil ze bedanken voor hun bijdrage aan het team. Nico en Kazuki hebben AT&T Williams en al haar partners vertegenwoordigd met toewijding, discipline en vaardigheid. We wensen beide heren het beste voor de toekomst.
