Ho-Pin Tung eist laatste plekje in Race of Champions voor zich op

Ho-Pin Tung neemt deel aan de Race of Champions, het eindejaarsevenement waarbij coureurs uit diverse klassen het tegen elkaar opnemen. Plaats van handeling is dit keer het Vogelnest in Beijing. In een shoot-out tussen Chinese rijders was Tung de beste, waardoor hij woensdag als individu en vandaag als onderdeel van Team China mee mag doen.

Tung: Ik verheug me al enorm op de Nations Cup van vandaag, waarin Han Han en ik de eer van China verdedigen. Afgaande op wat ik in de shoot-out gezien heb maken we goede kans, hoewel we wel tegen coureurs als Michael Schumacher moeten racen. Ik heb er alle vertrouwen in dat wij een sterk team zullen vormen.
