McLaren meldde zich te laat bij Rubens Barrichello

Rubens Barrichello heeft in de krant O Globo onthuld dat het team van McLaren ook interesse in hem had. De Britse renstal kwam echter te laat. De Braziliaanse coureur was toen al zeker van een overstap van Brawn GP naar Williams.

Barrichello: Ik sprak een paar weken geleden ook met McLaren, maar toen had ik al een contract getekend bij Williams. Daarmee komt een droom uit voor mij, sinds ik voor het eerst Formule 1 zag op televisie droomde ik al om ooit voor Williams te racen.
