Duizenden handtekeningen om Spa-Francorchamps te redden

Spa-Francorchamps wordt bedreigd. Een lokale rechter trok recentelijk de licentie van het Belgische circuit tot 2026 in vanwege klachten over geluidsoverlast. Een tegengeluid is ook te horen, een petitie is opgezet om de historische baan te redden.

De petitie is gestart door bewoners rondom het circuit en ze hebben inmiddels al ruim 27000 handtekeningen verzameld. Op de site staat: “We zijn voor het voortbestaan van het circuit en dit kan door een optimale uitbating. Wij zullen vechten om dit te behouden en we vinden het spijtig voor die personen die zich niet willen integreren in het lokale leven.” De petitie is te vinden op www.defendonsfrancorchamps.be.

    Waarom is er altijd gejank over de circuits die het financieel niet meer aankomen bla bla bla en nu gaat et over geluidsoverlast, die eikelsteen wil meer circuits right? pomp dan wat geld in dit circuit voor geluidsbarriers ofso, en donington uiteraard.. heb je ook geen gezeik meer over de circuits.

    Twee weken geleden al getekend, maar neemt niet weg: IEDEREEN DIE MET DIT CIRCUIT BEGAAN IS: TEKENEN!!! Zijn trouwens niet de \&quot;echte\&quot; omwonenden la sik ergens, maar een paar investeerders, die, naar horen zeggen, goedkoop grond hebben gekocht, daar huizen en hotels hebben gebouwd en nu proberen door opheffen van het circuit hun vastgoed en grondprijzen omhoog te stuwen! Dit is nog veel erger dan de mensen die echt last hebben van het geluid: die moeten dan trouwens maar verhuizen, dit circuit ligt er al bijna honderd jaar. Moet je er maar niet naast gaan wonen. Op zich zegt het al genoeg, dat de \&quot;echte\&quot; omwonenden een petitie opzetten voor het behoud. Zal wel goed komen, Spa is economisch gezien (hopelijk) veel te belangrijk voor België...
