Buemi tekent nieuw contract bij Scuderia Toro Rosso

Sebastien Buemi is ook volgend jaar te bewonderen in een auto van Scuderia Toro Rosso. Dat bevestigde de Zwitser zelf in het televisieprogramma Sport Dimanche. Buemi scoorde dit jaar in zijn debuutseizoen zes punten voor de Italiaanse renstal.

Buemi: Ik had wat contact met andere teams die onder de indruk waren geraakt van mijn prestaties aan het einde van het seizoen. Toyota was een mogelijkheid, aangezien ze nog geen rijders voor 2010 hadden. Dat was niet de enige optie en alles ging in goed overleg met Red Bull. Uiteindelijk heb ik toch getekend bij Scuderia Toro Rosso.
