Bruno Senna wil eigen naam vestigen in de Formule 1

Bruno Senna debuteert volgend jaar in de Formule 1 bij Campos Meta Team. De Braziliaan staat door zijn achternaam meteen al in de spotlights. Hij wil zo snel mogelijk af van het stempel van neefje van de legendarische Ayrton Senna.

Bij zijn officiële presentatie bij Campos Meta Team in Murcia zei Bruno Senna: Ik hoop dat binnenkort iedereen mij herinnert als Bruno, als mijzelf en niet vanwege de achternaam van mijn oom. Ik heb geleerd ermee te leven. In het begin was het wel handig met het vinden van sponsors en contacten leggen, maar als rijder heb je ook natuurlijk talent nodig. Ik wil volgend jaar punten scoren voor mijn team en de andere nieuwe teams aftroeven. Voor de lange termijn is de wereldtitel het doel, er zijn is niet genoeg voor mij.
