Toyota biedt ontwerpen van 2010-bolide te koop aan

Geïnteresseerde teams kunnen zich bij Toyota melden voor het afgeronde ontwerp voor de auto voor 2010, de TF110. De Japanse autofabrikant trekt zich namelijk terug uit de Formule 1 en zal de nieuwe auto niet bouwen. En dus staan de tekeningen te koop.

Dat meldt de Franse krant Le Parisien. Van de nieuwe teams worden US F1 en Manor Grand Prix gezien als mogelijke kopers. Lotus F1 Racing werkt namelijk al samen met Aerolab en Dallara produceert de auto voor Campos Meta Team.

Ondertussen zou ook het afgewezen Lola F1 ontwerpen voor 2010 klaar hebben liggen voor geïnteresseerde partijen. Directeur Robin Brundle deelde aan Racing-engineering mede: Niemand heeft ons nog benaderd, dus over verkoop hebben we nog niet gediscussieerd.
