Qadbak/Sauber wacht geduldig op startbewijs voor 2010

Het is al anderhalve week duidelijk dat Toyota zich terug trekt uit de Formule 1, maar nog steeds heeft de internationale autosportbond FIA de vrijgekomen plek niet aan Qadbak/Sauber toebedeeld. De federatie zoekt nog naar opheldering over de juridische positie van Toyota.

Qadbak/Sauber werd in september benoemd tot veertiende en eerste reserveteam. Zodra een andere renstal af zou vallen zouden zij die plek op mogen vullen. Toyota stopt, maar een startbewijs voor 2010 heeft Sauber nog niet. Ze hebben echter geen haast. We wachten geduldig op onze startplek, aldus teamoprichter Peter Sauber in Blick.
