Lotus F1 Racing contracteert eerste coureur

Lotus F1 Racing heeft zijn eerste rijder voor 2010 vastgelegd. Wie dat is blijft onduidelijk totdat ook de tweede coureur is gecontracteerd. Dat verklaarde teambaas Tony Fernandes in de New Straits Times, nadat hij eerder op zijn Twitter-pagina onthulde een coureur aangetrokken te hebben.

Fernandes zei op zijn Twitter-pagina: 1Malaysia F1 Team, beter bekend als Lotus, heeft de eerste coureur voor 2010 binnen. Bekendmaking volgt snel. De droom gaat maar door. In de New Straits Times meldde hij: Als we ook de tweede rijder weten, dan volgt de presentatie. Verder kan ik alleen zeggen dat alles soepel verloopt en dat de premier van Maleisië de bekendmaking voor zijn rekening neemt.
