Mercedes GP test met Conway en Ericsson in Jerez

Mike Conway stapt in bij Mercedes GP voor de young drivers-test op het circuit van Jerez van volgende week. De Engelsman is geen onbekende van het team, hij testte in 2007 en 2008 voor voorganger Honda. Dit jaar kwam Conway uit in de IRL IndyCars.

Het nieuws is nog niet officieel aangekondigd, maar Autosport meldt dat het management van Conway bevestigt dat de coureur naar Jerez afreist voor de test. Op de site van het circuit staat Conway ook ingeroosterd bij Mercedes GP. Jerez maakt tevens melding van Japans Formule 3-kampioen Marcus Ericsson als testrijder voor Mercedes GP voor volgende week.
