Manor Grand Prix als Virgin Racing op startlijst voor 2010

Manor Grand Prix zal waarschijnlijk nooit onder die naam aan de Formule 1 deelnemen. Dat blijkt uit de startlijst voor 2010 die de internationale autosportbond FIA publiceerde. De nieuwe renstal staat ingeschreven als Virgin Racing, wat bevestigt dat sponsor Virgin overstapt van Brawn GP naar Manor Grand Prix.

De startlijst bestaat uit twaalf teams. Het gat dat Toyota achterlaat is nog niet opgevuld, Sauber is veroordeeld tot wachten. De FIA stelt in een verklaring: Toyota Motorsport GmbH is formeel gebonden om een team voor deelname te leveren, al hebben ze aangegeven daar niet aan te kunnen en willen voldoen. Een aankondiging over deze plek volgt binnenkort.

Verder staat kampioen Brawn GP nog gewoon op de startlijst, ondanks de overname door Mercedes. Het team heeft wel aangegeven dat het van plan is om de naam voor het nieuwe seizoen te veranderen in Mercedes GP. Uit de deelnemerslijst blijkt ook dat Red Bull Racing door gaat met Renault als motorleverancier.

Nee, onbekend nummer 4 van mercedes GP op 1....dan wat rooie stiertjes. En dan ergens Massa en Alonso. Dan wat andere vage teams en klantenmotoren team mclaren ergens met force india rond de middenmoot richting rode lantaarn.
