Virgin wil overeenkomst met Manor Grand Prix nog niet bevestigen

Virgin heeft geen persconferenties gepland om tekst en uitleg over een eventuele samenwerking met Manor Grand Prix te geven, zo weet Autosport te melden. Op de deelnemerslijst van de internationale autosportbond FIA staat het team al als Virgin Racing aangegeven, maar een officiële bevestiging blijft voorlopig uit.

Richard Branson, baas van Virgin, heeft geen haast om de overeenkomst met Manor Grand Prix wereldkundig te maken. Naast sponsoring van de renstal zou hij ook Alex Tai, die speciale projecten van Virgin runt, stallen in de leiding van de Formule 1-renstal. Zolang Virgin zich echter stil houdt blijft het gissen naar de plannen rond Manor Grand Prix.
