Ecclestone vermoedt dat Renault door gaat met Formule 1

Het is nog altijd niet honderd procent zeker dat Renault in de Formule 1 blijft. De laatste dagen doemen de geruchten dat de Franse autofabrikant de renstal van de hand wil doen weer op. Bernie Ecclestone denkt dat de naam Renault voorlopig niet uit de Formule 1 verdwijnt.

We moeten de kwestie Renault nog wel oplossen en daar zitten we middenin. Ik ben vol vertrouwen dat we Renault volgend jaar terug zien onder de naam Renault, en het jaar daarna ook, evenals het jaar daarna, aldus de commerciële baas van de Formule 1 in The Times.
