Kimi Raikkonen heeft belangstelling van Mercedes GP afgeslagen. Dat meldt zijn manager Steve Robertson in de Finse krant Turun Sanomat. Raikkonen, wereldkampioen van 2007, had zijn zinnen echter al gezet op een overstap naar het wereldkampioenschap rally rijden.

Robertson: Kimi kon naar Mercedes GP, ze wilden hem hebben. Maar toen had hij al besloten om naar de WRC over te stappen. Kimi komt nooit terug op een beslissing. Raikkonen gaat aan de slag met een Citroen van het Red Bull Junior Team.
