Stefan GP zonder startbewijs aan de slag met ontwerp TF110

Stefan GP bemachtigde geen startrecht voor volgend seizoen, maar toch gaat het beoogde Servische team van AMCO-baas Zoran Stefanovic door met zich voorbereiden. De renstal houdt rekening dat een van de nieuwe teams de start van 2010 niet haalt.

Dat meldt Auto Motor und Sport. Het Duitse blad geeft aan dat Campos Meta Team en US F1 de meeste kans maken om nog af te vallen. Daarom werkt Stefan GP ook aan een auto, met behulp van overblijfselen van de renstal van Toyota. Zo zou Stefan GP gebruik maken van het ontwerp voor de Toyota TF110 onder de technische leiding van Pascal Vasselon, voormalig senior general manager chassis bij het Japanse team.
