Lotus-teambaas en Virgin-baas sluiten weddenschap af

Lotus-teambaas Tony Fernandes en Virgin-baas Richard Branson runnen allebei een vliegmaatschappij. Toen Branson hoorde dat Fernandes zou stoppen als zijn renstal volgend jaar onder Virgin Racing eindigt, reageerde hij door een ludieke weddenschap voor te stellen.
Degene wiens renstal in 2010 het laagst eindigt moet als stewardess dienen in een vlucht van de vliegmaatschappij van de ander.

En Fernandes gaat die weddenschap graag aan. Het is wel een gepaste weddenschap, vind je niet? Onze passagiers zouden graag bediend worden door een geridderd persoon. Maar Richard kennende zal het een uitdaging worden om te voorkomen dat hij zichzelf niet steeds aanbiedt voor bij de koffie of thee. Dat is wel een enge gedachte.
