Stefan GP: "Plan A is toetreden in 2010, plan B is toetreden in 2011"

Stefan GP laat de ambitie om toe te treden tot de Formule 1 niet los, ondanks het feit dat alle beschikbare plekken op de grid vergeven zijn. De Servische renstal is dicht bij een overeenkomst met Toyota om het ontwerp voor de wagen voor 2010 over te nemen en hoopt dat een van de vier nieuwe teams de start van het nieuwe seizoen niet haalt.

Mocht er geen plek vrijkomen, dan zal Stefan GP volgend jaar gebruiken om te testen en in 2011 een nieuwe poging te wagen. Baas Zoran Stefanovic vertelde aan Autosport: Plan A is om in 2010 toe te treden, plan B is in 2011 toetreden en volgend jaar testen met de auto en diverse coureurs. De rijders zijn bij ons al bekend, maar we gaan ze nog niet aankondigen. Als we volgend jaar niet op de grid staan zullen we het jaar benutten om veel te testen. We zijn niet gebonden aan de testlimiet in de Concorde Agreement.

Stefanovic heeft zijn klacht bij de Europese Commissie over de selectieprocedure laten vallen. We hebben besloten om daar van af te zien. Het is beter om vooruit te kijken met een goed plan dan met een aanklacht. We hebben de noodzakelijke middelen wat geld betreft. Daar bestaat geen twijfel over. Het enige vraagteken bedraagt het startbewijs en tot die tijd geven wij geen details prijs.

de wagen van Toyota was meer als redlijk dit jaar vooral op het end van het jaar.daarom denk ik dat de wagen van 2010 best weleens een goede kan zijn .
