Eric Boullier ontdekt gebroken moraal bij Renault

De sfeer binnen het Renault-team is niet meer wat het geweest is. Tegenvallende resultaten en controverses hebben voor een gebroken moraal gezorgd. Daar ligt een uitdaging voor de nieuwe teambaas Eric Boullier, hij wil dat de koppies weer omhoog gaan.

Dat wordt mijn voornaamste doel, om de mensen hier weer zelfvertrouwen te geven, begint hij tegenover Autosport. Ik wil dat ze trots zijn op het werk dat ze doen, net als ik. De moraal was niet hoog aan het eind van vorig seizoen en het is mijn taak om de mensen weer in zichzelf te doen geloven.

Ik denk dat dit team alle kwaliteiten heeft om succesvol te zijn, dat hebben ze in het verleden ook bewezen. De kern staat, de groep mensen is intact gebleven en ze hebben al vier wereldtitels gepakt. Dat mogen we niet vergeten, het zou ook stom van mij zijn om daar aan voorbij te gaan. Ik hoop dat iedereen de externe problemen achter zich laat, dat zal de positie van de auto ten goede komen.
