Vervisch gelooft niet meer in inlossing beloftes Force India

Frederic Vervisch hoopt nog altijd door te dringen tot de wereld van de Formule 1. De Belg geeft zichzelf nog twee tot drie jaar de tijd daarvoor. De eerste stap in de vorm van een test bij Force India, die hem in het vooruitzicht werd gesteld na het winnen van het Aziatisch Formule 3-kampioenschap in 2008, is echter ver weg.

Vervisch op Autosport.be: De afgeketste Formule 1-test bij Force India was een streep door de rekening. Wij hadden daar dat jaar toch naar toegewerkt. Daarna echter werd het plots zeer stil. Ik moet zeggen dat ik er vanaf toen niet echt meer in heb geloofd. Ik ben wel naar Monaco gereisd en heb me aangemeld op het jacht van Vijay Mallya. Die was helemaal niet geïnteresseerd in mijn verhaal en zei dat hij niet gehouden was door afspraken die gemaakt waren onder de vorige eigenaars.

Het enige wat we nog zouden kunnen doen is een rechtszaak aanspannen en proberen compensaties te krijgen. Maar daar kruipt enorm veel tijd en geld in, en eigenlijk wil ik me daar niet meer mee bezighouden. De Formule 1-droom is echter nog niet geheel opgeborgen. Ik heb nog twee à drie jaar, realistisch gezien, om daar terecht te komen. Als er zich in 2011 geen mogelijkheden voordoen moet ik eens gaan nadenken.

tja als het een afspraak is van de vorige eigenaar van het team...? dan snap ik Vijay Mallya ook wel. het is niet zijn belofte dus probleem...

jeetje slechte bericht, deze belofte is gedaan door Spyker die toen die in de F1 actief was. Dus Force India heeft hoer niks mee te maken en hoeft ook geen testdag in te ruimen.
