Schumacher schakelde manager niet in bij onderhandelingen

Michael Schumacher heeft zelf de contractonderhandelingen voor een rentree in de Formule 1 bij Mercedes GP voltooid. De Duitser handelde volledig buiten zijn manager Willi Weber om. Dat meldt de Duitse krant Bild.

Ik ben oud genoeg om zelf wat dingen voor mezelf te regelen, verklaarde Schumacher. De zevenvoudig wereldkampioen benadrukt dat Weber wel nog steeds zijn manager is. Willi is en blijft mijn manager en mijn vriend. We werken beter samen dan ooit.
