Trulli verwerpt idee Ecclestone voor legaal afsnijden

Bernie Ecclestone heeft weer veel stof doen opwaaien met zijn gedachte om afsnijden toe te staan in de Formule 1. Zijn voorstel is om coureurs vijf keer per race toe te staan om op daarvoor ingeruimde plekken de baan af te steken.

Lotus F1 Racing-rijder Jarno Trulli is de eerste coureur die ingaat op het idee. De Italiaan is geen voorstander. Tegenover Reuters meldde hij: Bernie heeft soms goede duidelijke plannen, maar wat hij nu wil is niet mogelijk. De Formule 1 is een sport, geen spel.
