Renault R30 zakt voor eerste frontale FIA-crashtest

De nieuwe Renault R30 heeft de eerste frontale crashtest van de internationale autosportbond FIA niet doorstaan. De voorkant van de wagen bleek nog niet sterk genoeg. Vorig jaar kwam de auto van de Franse renstal ook niet direct door de crashtests.

Renault is van plan om op 1 februari aan de eerste voorbereidingstest deel te nemen. De presentatie van de R30 vindt een dag eerder plaats. Het team heeft alleen nog Robert Kubica onder contract.
