Hamilton: "Ik wil de wereldtitel winnen, dat is duidelijk"

McLaren-coureur Lewis Hamilton is er op gebrand om dit jaar weer mee te dingen naar de wereldtitel. De Engelsman heeft veel zin in het komende seizoen. Het lijkt een geweldig Formule 1-jaar te worden, de vooruitzichten zijn briljant.

Over de nieuwe MP4-25 zei hij: Ik heb gezien hoeveel inzet en attentie is besteed om deze auto te maken tot wat het is. We zijn als gekken op zoek gegaan naar snelheid en het resultaat is deze speciale en compromisloze wagen.

Jenson Button en ik zijn allebei wereldkampioenen en we willen bijdragen aan de succesvolle geschiedenis van dit team. Een sterke line-up is dit jaar belangrijk vanwege het grote aantal competitieve concurrenten.

Ik wil natuurlijk de wereldtitel voor coureurs winnen, dat moge duidelijk zijn. Maar, minstens net zo belangrijk, ik wil het team ook helpen bij de verovering van de constructeurstitel.
