Caterham hevelt engineer over van GP2 naar de Formule 1

Het team van Caterham heeft Patrick Coorey aangesteld als race support engineer. Coorey is afkomstig van de GP2-renstal van Caterham, Caterham Racing. Daar was hij vorig jaar de race-engineer voor Sergio Canamasas.

In 2012 werkte hij aan de auto van Giedo van der Garde en wonnen ze twee races. Coorey is sinds de oprichting van Caterham Racing betrokken geweest bij de GP2-renstal. De GP2 levert dus niet alleen coureurs voor de Formule 1, maar ook engineers.
