De la Rosa sluit zeges en podiumplekken voor Sauber uit

Pedro de la Rosa tempert de verwachtingen rondom het team van Sauber. De Zwitserse renstal nam deze week in Valencia tijdens de test elke dag bezit van de tweede plek, maar dat zegt nog niets met het oog op het komende seizoen.

De la Rosa antwoordde op de vraag of hij met de C29 op het podium denkt te komen: We gaan het proberen, maar de kans is niet heel reëel. We moeten realistisch zijn. Onze auto is goed, maar we hebben een klein team. Het doel is om zoveel mogelijk punten te scoren, niet om te winnen. Iedereen is onder de indruk geraakt van Ferrari. Het doet ons weinig dat ze sneller zijn, ons gevecht is niet met Ferrari, hoewel we wel goed gepositioneerd zijn.
