De la Rosa stopt als voorzitter van rijdersvakbond GPDA

Ferrari-testrijder Pedro de la Rosa heeft zijn functie van voorzitter van de Grand Prix Drivers' Association beschikbaar gesteld. Dat werd afgelopen weekend in Australië duidelijk, meldt Speed Week.

Volgende week in de aanloop naar de Maleisische Grand Prix volgt waarschijnlijk een stemming onder de coureurs over een opvolger, het liefst een rijder met ervaring. Op dit moment zijn Jenson Button (McLaren) en Sebastian Vettel (Red Bull Racing) actief als directeuren bij de GPDA.
