Agag: "Futuristisch geluid Formule E zal nog verrassen"

Gezien de verontwaardiging over het geluid van de nieuwe Formule 1 zal het de Formule E veel moeite kosten om de fans te overtuigen van het geluid van de nieuwe elektrische klasse. Daar is Alejandro Agag echter totaal niet bang voor. Tegenover AFP breekt hij nu alvast een lans voor het geluid van 'zijn' Formule E.

Agag: "Het geluid van de Formule E zal iedereen nog verrassen. De klanken die onze auto's voortbrengen zijn futuristisch, nieuw, anders. Volgende week plaatsen we een video online om het te laten horen en dat zal voor sommigen een schok zijn. Het geluid dat een Formule E-bolide maakt is namelijk nog vrij luid. Het klinkt als een vliegtuig, een straaljager. Of zoals de Podracer in Star Wars. Dat is dus ook het gevoel dat we de fans mee willen geven, dat van een futuristische serie. Het klinkt totaal niet zoals een traditionele verbrandingsmotor."
