Delta Topco betaalt 200 miljoen aan dividend uit

De aandeelhouders van de Formule 1 hebben over 2013 bij elkaar opgeteld 200 miljoen pond aan dividend verdiend. Dat bericht Sky. Delta Topco, de overkoepelende organisatie van de Formule 1, keerde 80 miljoen pond aan grootaandeelhouder CVC Capital op.

Lehman Brothers streek 40 miljoen pond op en Bernie Ecclestone ontving 17 miljoen pond voor zijn 5,3 procent aandelen. Andere aandeelhouders die dividend ontvingen zijn BlackRock, Waddell & Reed, Norges Bank en een Texaans pensioenfonds.

Delta Topco had de intentie om meer dividend te betalen, maar vanwege openstaande schulden en de ideeen voor een beursgang is daar van af gezien. Het plan om de beurs in Singapore te betreden staat op een laag pitje door ongunstige marktomstandigheden en de aanklachten tegen Ecclestone.
