Bij Mercedes lijken ze een kruistocht begonnen om het nut en de waarde van de nieuwe reglementen in de Formule 1 te benadrukken. De Duitse autofabrikant gaf eerder deze week aan dat het zonder de nieuwe motorformule uit de sport was gestapt. Nu kondigt men een nieuw filmpje aan met termen als 'opwindende innovaties' en 'opmerkelijke stap vooruit wat betreft efficiëntie'. In een 3D animatie toont Mercedes hoe de hybride aandrijflijn eruit ziet en in zijn werk gaat.
